BPA competition winners

Our Broadcasting & Video Production and Digital Marketing students recently competed and had a great showing in the National Business Professionals of America (BPA) virtual competition. BPA is the leading Career-Technical Student Organization for young people pursuing careers in business, finance, marketing and information technology. BPA boasts over 60,000 members across the United States and around the world. BPA competitions give students the chance to demonstrate the skills they have mastered in their career-technical training programs.

Thousands of young people from around the country competed in the first round of this year’s virtual events. Eleven students from our Broadcasting & Video Production and Digital Marketing programs, located at Berea-Midpark High School, placed in the top 10 in their national contests earning an invitation to the 2025 BPA National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Orlando, Florida, May 7-11, 2025. During the 2025 NLC, the top 10 finalists will gain the experience of a lifetime through a dynamic platform of personal and professional growth activities including a unique opportunity to compete for Best-in-Show Awards during the National Showcase, a four-hour experience that allows all conference attendees to network with each of the top 10 competitors from across the U.S., engage with innovative professionals during the National Showcase Business Panel (a one-hour experience where students ask questions to industry representatives from Fortune 500 companies), compete on-site in national level skills competitions, earn multiple industry certifications and be recognized on stage during the grand awards session.
