Attention local seventh and eighth grade girls! You’re invited to take a deep dive into the construction field at our First Annual BuildHER event. This hands-on construction workshop, sponsored by Henkel Corporation and Regency Construction Services, features fun, real-world lab activities taught by our instructors and student leaders. This inaugural event will take place at Polaris on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The fee to participate is $25, which includes lab experiences, all class materials, a project to take home, a FREE t-shirt, a Polaris beanie hat and lunch.
This action-packed day promises to fill up quickly so you’re encouraged to register as soon as possible at www.polaris.edu/buildher. Priority registration for Polaris partner school district (Berea, Brooklyn, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls and Strongsville) students will run through February 14, 2025. Registration for the general public (outside of Polaris’s partner school district communities) starts February 15, 2025.
