Practical nursing students

The shortage of nurses, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), has become a national concern. As announced earlier this year, we’re partnering with Southwest General Health Center to launch a new Adult Education Practical Nursing program.

Taught in a NEW state-of-the-art classroom and lab setting, this program will give you the knowledge and clinical training needed to start a rewarding career in nursing. Thanks to a unique partnership with Southwest, you will have access to scholarship assistance and real-world clinical experiences at their Middleburg Heights campus. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensure exam, opening an exciting pathway into the healthcare industry.

Starting in August, this 11-month program will provide you with the skills needed to succeed in this growing field. Classes will run Monday through Thursday with an occasional Friday, and feature 788 hours of classroom instruction, 146 hours of hands-on skills lab training and 166 hours of clinical rotations at Southwest General.
