adult practical nursing students

The shortage of nurses, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), is becoming a national concern. As announced earlier this spring, we’ve teamed up with Southwest General Health Center to launch a new Adult Education Practical Nursing program.

Taught in a new state-of-the-art classroom and lab setting, this program will provide you with the knowledge and clinical training required to embark on a rewarding career in nursing. Thanks to our partnership with Southwest, you will have access to scholarship assistance and real-world clinical experiences at their Middleburg Heights campus. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensure exam, opening a world of opportunities in the healthcare industry.

Starting in August, this 11-month journey will equip you with the skills needed to succeed in this growing profession. Classes will run Monday through Thursday with an occasional Friday, and feature 788 hours of classroom instruction, 146 hours of hands-on skills lab training and 166 hours of clinical rotations at Southwest General.
