Staci Bohannon, a 2011 graduate of our Sports Medicine (now Exercise Science & Rehab Therapy) program and Berea High School, was named the 2023 UH Sports Medicine High School Athletic Trainer of the Year! She is currently the athletic trainer (AT) at Streetsboro High School and was one of 16 ATs out of University Hospital’s 70 trainers to be nominated. She was formally recognized at “The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com High School Standouts On and Off the Field Awards” ceremony, which took place last month.
