Polaris Career Center. What is Job Shadowing? An opportunity for on-the-job training where a student learns from experienced individuals in their chosen Industry. #PolarisMeansJobs. Students spend a day or part of a day shadowing your employees on-side. Students are not paid for job shadowing experience. Student participants are recommended by program instructor. Student provides their own transportation. Perk to shadowing leads to possible employment.
